The Computerization & Automation of the Library System:
With the development of Information and Communication Technology, the Integral University Library System (IULS) has felt the importance of computerization in the library house-keeping operations such as acquisition, OPAC, circulation, serials control, multimedia and web based inquiry; the library is fully automated by using internationally reputed integrated library system software named “Koha”. More than twenty-five (25) PCs are dedicated exclusively to the users for browsing Web-OPAC and accessing online databases. All the departmental libraries/branch libraries are interconnected through Koha, the Issue/Return, OPAC, Report generation and other operations have been extended to the departmental libraries. The Central Library has a very good collection of print as well as online journals.
The IP based campus wide access to online journals and e-books are available through E-Shodhsindhu Digital Library Consortium as well as other leading international publishers. More than 15 PCs are exclusively reserved in the Digital Resource Center to access e-resources in the Central Library. The library also has a very rich collection of digital resources i.e., CDs and DVDs and Pendrives on many subjects which are made available from Digital Resources Center. All the books available in the library are Barcoded for automated check-in and check-out and helping to achieve maximum efficiency in providing accuracy, speed and reliability. It is very helpful in providing circulation statistics of the books and it is helping us in answering different queries such as history of issue and return of books, most issued books, books in a great demand which are very helpful for further decision making.
Acquisition of Books & Journals:
During the academic session 2016-17 the Library has acquired 10198 volumes of print books and the Library collection is now 107973 volumes. Also, the Library has subscribed 336 Indian as well as foreign print journals and 5046 on-line journals/e-journals.

The Central Library is also providing access to World eBook Library (WEL), a premier academic research database under the aegis of National Digital Library through INFLIBNET. Through World E-Book Library Integral University fraternity now has access to Three Million E-Books of various disciplines.
Reserve and Prescribed Section Book:
The Reserve and Prescribed Book Section has a collection of text books in all subjects taught in various courses at the Integral University which is recommended by the teaching staff. A total of about 14000 books are shelved for reading and learning and photocopying purposes within the library premises. Books are arranged in a classified order.
The seating capacity of Reserve Section is 100. Reserve Section remains open from 9.00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Monday to Friday and on Saturday from 9.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. Sunday remain closed.
The Central Library maintains a separate Reference Collection consisting of Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Directories, Handbooks, Technical data, Atlases, Bibliographies etc. The previous years’ examination question papers are also provided here Online for the benefit of the students. The total collection of Reference books is 1221 volumes.
PhD Thesis and Master Dissertation:
A total number of 290 PhD theses are available for the consultation within the Central Library. The Library also holds a total number of 1567 Master Dissertations.
Oriental Book Section:
The Oriental Collection consisting of Quran, Islamic Literature, Urdu Literature, English novels and Biographies etc. The total collection of oriental books is 1935 volumes.
The Central Library of the Integral University has a rare Manuscript i.e Quraan in 03 Volumes which is around 152 years old.
The Central Library offers photocopying, scanning & printing facilities to all the users on nominal charges.
Since, the library has a very good collection of CDS, DVDs, E-Books, E-Journals, Digital Resources, Databases, Software’s and several educational films, a separate Digital Resource Centre has been established for smooth dissemination of information to the academic fraternity of the University.
